Colin Davis and Nielsen at ridiculous price!
Just a quick mention of a recent purchase (which I haven't as yet listened to: that probably comes tomorrow!) of all of Carl Nielsen's symphonies, conducted by Sir Colin Davis with the London Symphony Orchestra, between 2009 and 2011.
They ship as a complete set on 3 SACDs and a fourth disk is the Blu-Ray Audio equivalent (which I can't yet play and Semplice doesn't know how to deal with), and the entire kit and caboodle is yours for the ludicrously low price of £11.43, if you buy before 3rd September (and even after that, it's only £15.25), from PrestoClassical.
