The "ē", with the diacritic, rather than a plain old "e", is important enough to get right, though it's not mandated by my edition of New Grove ...because he's too young to have made it into it! He was born in 1946 and my edition of New Grove is dated 1980... so at 36, he probably didn't rate a mention!
