Reinhold Glière

This one is confusing! The guy is listed in Grove under an entry for "Glier, Reyngol'd Moritsevich", but with "Glière, Reinhold" in brackets immediately afterwards. The article about him then consistently calls him "Glier". There is no explanation offered for the spelling variation in his name. Wikipedia, for what it's worth, says he was "born Reinhold Ernest Glier" but that was "later converted for standardization purposes", but without elaborating what those purposes were or when they took place. Grove notwithstanding, the most common modern spelling seems to be the one with a grave accent and an 'h'.
