Trumpets! (You can write practically anything and have it sound wonderful if you throw in a few Baroque trumpets!)

The bass & chorus aria is the standout piece here, I think -and yes, that’s largely because of the trumpets.

The tenor has a good run with sweet oboe accompaniment, too, though.

It’s a jolly piece overall, but not terribly memorable.
