Any reference to ‘the randomiser’ in these pages means: my Absolutely Baching Music Player (AMP) playing in randomising mode. It selects a composer at random, then finds a folder-full of that composer’s music to play. Every composer has an equal chance of being selected on the first pass. Randomisation can be tweaked by applying ‘over-ride’ filters (such as specifying a particular genre to play), but on the whole AMP is usually left to pick whatever it fancies playing. That way, I get to experience a weirdly- and wonderfully broad repertoire.
