Installation Notes for Giocoso 3 on Linux Mint

As a derivative of Ubuntu, Linux Mint runs Giocoso well. I installed Mint 21.2, MATE edition, multimedia codecs not installed.

The Giocoso installation process itself proceeds without any difficulty at all: everything is automated as it should be and all software prerequisites are installed as intended. A desktop launcher is created, along with a launcher in the Sound & Video main menu group. The desktop launcher is there for convenience only: once you are happy using the main menu one, it can be deleted at your convenience.

The short version is, therefore, that Linux Mint is a perfect candidate for running Giocoso and installations don't come much simpler or more effective than this one!
